Strategic Objectives

• To formalise the use and acceptance of traditional medicine in our societies
• To promote Ubuntu, as part of our health and development of societies with a firm foundation in cultural practices
• To develop strong cultural, traditional and spiritual values that promote the use of traditional medicines
• Establishment of herbal forests and preservation of indigenous forests and environment
• To bring traditional healers, herbalists, spiritual healers, researchers and scientific medical practitioners together to harness and promote use of traditional medicines
• To disseminate information on topical traditional, cultural and spiritual values affecting the communities
• To generate and disseminate knowledge on traditional medicines to institutions, partners and parties so as to increase its utilisation
• To educate tourists about Zimbabwean culture and the application of traditional medicines, herbs and traditional dietary habits to maintain health and well-being
• To support the branding and packaging of traditional herbal medicines according to international standards
• To export traditional medicines, herbs and foods at an international level and assist in the growth of the Growth Domestic Product

Mr Beaven Tendayi Munyengeterwa “Changamire Moyo”

• He is a traditional healer with over 39 years’ experience and exposure to traditional healing and indigenous knowledge across Africa and beyond.
• Has worked with PROMETRA South Africa as a consultant
• National Research Foundation South Africa as a consultant in Indigenous Knowledge System
• Acting Chairman of African Traditional Religion on Religious Broadcasting Panel, South Africa.
• Attended ICASA conferences in Durban South Africa and Nairobi Kenya
• Chairman of Moyo Herbal and Complementary therapy heritage in South Africa (NGO).
• Running of Moyo Herbal Clinic in Johannesburg and Umtata Eastern Cape, South Africa for 16 years.
• Attended herbal information exchange workshops with Indonesians and Thai traditional healers in United Kingdom.

Ndotasanura
Research and Development

DR J.C.B Ndotasanura (MbChB- UZ) (formerly Known as Dr J.C.B Mutetwa) a medical practitioner and researcher of traditional practices.

• Qualified in Medicine at Godfrey Huggins Medical School, University of Zimbabwe in 1979 hence 43 years of experience and exposure in scientific medical practice.
• In these 43 years was also researching in traditional medical practice with various traditional practitioners.
• Has vast knowledge in Indigenous Knowledge Systems

Administrator

Mr Nicholas Kokai has over 34 years’ experience in managerial positions in various companies of which:

• 14 years was Welfare Officer at Shabani Mine
• 20 years General Manager at Schweppes Zimbabwe which he was in charge of sales and marketing.
